Workout Wednesday: Upper Body and Abs Blast

Happy hump day or in my blogs case Workout Wednesday! I hope your all having a good week, mine has been good so far, I've had good news, a meal out and I plan to go to the cinema later which will be the first time in ages.

Before today is over I will have also done a workout which has been planned of course, will you have? Are you looking for a workout perfect for getting those upper body muscles going? Well guys I have a great routine for you to try which will get your heart rate up and your muscles feeling like they've had a good workout, read on and get your new routine...


Upper Body and Abs Blast

3-5 minute warm up before starting can be anything as long as it gets your heart pumping!

Circuit 1 - Arms

15 x Press Ups
15 x Dips
15 x Squat Press with Med ball, dumbbells or viper
15 x Decline Press Ups

x 2

Circuit 2 - Abs

15 x Leg Raises
20 x Bicycle Crunches - each side
15 x Sit Up
20 x Mountain Climber - each side

x2

Perform circuit 1 twice through then take a 30 second break before starting circuit 2 twice through, take a 1-2 minute rest before starting at the beginning and repeat each circuit twice through again back to back with a 30 second break. Once you've finished remember to stretch!

  1. I currently walk EVERYWHERE but my news years resolution (well, one of them!) is to start doing more yoga! Love these workouts that you do! Wished you lived closer, Id so employ you to be my PT!

    1. I love waking, I did loads during the summer but it's definitely slowed down now I can do my normal workouts again but I miss it and should get out there more! Ha well there's always Skype training x
