When I Grow Up I Want To Be..... - Day Three

When I was a little girl I wanted to be an actress, in fact drama was the only good GCSE grade I got but after school I had literally no idea what I wanted to do and not doing the best in my GCSE's didn't help!

Rewind to my 16 year old self, I decided I wanted to do Hair and Beauty at college so thats what I did, two years passed and I got my NVQ's but the thought of working in a salon didn't appeal so at 18 I decided to get a job and wait until I really new what I wanted to do.....

After starting this blog I had a dream to work for a company that had something to do with health food or healthy living but with nothing about I just continued to blog until the age of 28.......

Finally I knew what I wanted to do...become a personal trainer!! So I did my course and passed with flying colours, the hardest 6 weeks of my life but worth every heart ache it caused!

I am so glad I waited until I truly new the path I wanted to take, if I am honest being a personal trainer in a small town where there isn't much money can be tough which is why I have other jobs like my Saturday shift in the tattoo shop and of course the small amount of work I do for Coconom, another gig I can thank my blog for!

Slowly but surely things all work out in the end and most of what I do now all started with this little piece of cyber space which I am eternally grateful for, so thanks guys for sticking around and joining me on this journey x x

Questions:

Did you grow up to be something totally different to what you wanted to be as a child?

Did you always know what you wanted to be?

How did you get to where you are now?

  1. The picture of you with pigtails is so cute. I wanted to be a solicitor at one point, but then this changed to a research scientist later on in life.
