OMG its August!!!!!!!!
Happy August 1st readers lets keep our fingers crossed for a gloriously sunny one shall we?!
This month has started in a great way, I have talked to some potential new clients, done a 2hr workout with another client and met my lovely girls for coffee in a cute little cafe just down the road from me, August the 1st is feeling good!
Today's post is nothing out of the usual its all about food, the food I have been enjoying this week. If your stuck for food ideas maybe this will help and you can recreate these for yourself I can confirm it all tastes delicious!
My favourite breakfasts this week have been chopped fruit, cottage cheese and linseeds crunch.
This breakfast is so quick and easy to throw together plus its really filling and tastes so good!
I have to admit I am a sucker for tuna mayo so when I am short on time this makes a great quick lunch. Tuna mayo on top of rice cakes with cucumber and lettuce...simple : )
The other day I was late to sort out lunch and all I could think of was a smoothie so thats what I had a cherry, banana and wheatgrass smoothie to be exact it hit the spot for sure!
We had some bacon that needed using up so I whipped up this savoury bacon and veggie rice the other night, it was very tasty and just the kind of meal Dale loves.
Veggie pasta topped with eggs, really easy and a heat mid week meal.
Last night we had gluten free fish fingers with sweet potato mash and broccoli. Love this meal! Makes me feel ten years old again : )
And there we have it a colourful array of meals, none of them hard to make and all of them including some sort of fruit or veg. I am eating a much more wider range of food these days and I'm loving it, lucky I have a man thats not fussy at all when it comes to food, he will eat anything I put in front of him which makes life easy!
