Friday Food Porn

Happy Friday Readers!
I hope you have all had a great week whatever you've been up to. Mine has been busy with a little pain thrown in, my back has been giving me some hip this week so I went and had a killer sports massage last night which right now doesn't feel too great but by tomorrow I shall hopefully be back to my normal non-pain self!

Between the craziness of training clients I have been eating some pretty awesome food this week and here are my favourites.....

Fresh strawberries topped with cottage cheese and Linseed Crunch. The crunch is a new to me food which tastes delish and I will be telling you all about it in my review post later this month.

Chopped strawberries and Mango topped with cottage cheese, mixed seeds and cinnamon. I love love love this combo!

I have to add here if you like me love a bit of cottage cheese I highly recommend checking out lidl for some their cottage cheese is the best I've tried, not watery at all which I hate!

I bought some pears the other day for Dales lunches and needing a quick lunch yesterday chopped a couple up for myself and it reminded me how much I love a perfectly ripe pear. I never think to eat them because they are quite messy and not something I would go for when eating on the go. I teamed my pears with rice cakes and peanut butter, yum!

I saw these little beauties being advertise somewhere and new I had to get my hands on one so the other day in Tesco I picked up the above Cappuccino and an un-pictured Mocha Almond Breeze drink. LOVE THEM!! These drinks are so good and low in calories to boot, the perfect mid morning snack/drink : )

I made this rather tasty dinner the other night, really simple and easy. Just eggs and veggies scrambled with a little pesto and half a sweet pot, really filling and tasty my kind of meal!

Last night I made me and Dale this yummy looking dish, gluten free pasta topped with bacon, mushrooms, green beans and onion mixed with pesto. Dale loves pasta so he was very pleased with this and I gotta admit I really enjoyed this meal too. I can take or leave pasta its not something I think about using very often but on the odd occasion I really like it.

Last but not least one of my favourite puddings, full fat greek style yogurt with some choc shot squeezed in, so good!

Question:

What foods have you been eating and loving this week?

  1. As always, I love your egg meals. I used to eat those cottage cheese pots iwth pineapple in - so nice to have a bit of sweetness in it. I must eat more as I rarely think to buy it.
