Sunday Funday

Happy Monday guys, I hope you all had a fab weekend I definitely did : )
Saturday I worked then spent the evening watching the new series of Orange is the New Black, love it!!

Sunday started with a yummy coffee before doing a killer leg workout before Dale got home from his fishing trip.

Once he got back and was freshened up I made us this awesome raspberry smoothie which was soooo thick and creamy, definitely one to be made again. After breakfast we got our stuff together then made our way to Dale's mums for a day in the sun and a BBQ

Pimm's from a can, so classy! I had a couple of these while we snacked on some picky bits and chatted in the sun. What a glorious day we had : )

Awwww I got to hang out with this beauty too!

We stayed at Dales mums all day, the BBQ was delicious I had some steak and chicken, salad, potatoes and coleslaw, no picture as I totally for got to take one. It was all about the food and eating it!

My offering was fresh strawberries with homemade lemon and poppy seed ice cream. I made this from a book I am reviewing which will be featured this week, your not going to want to miss that post!

Huh as if I hadn't eaten enough yesterday! I also got to try my dads Creme Patissiere which was gluten free and bloody gorgeous! Recipe also sowing soon, my dad is a pretty awesome cook : )

Yes yesterday was definitely a fun day even though I felt hideously full by the end of it!

I have so many recipes to share with you guys, its a been a real cook up in my kitchen lately so get ready to see some yumminess coming up on your feed just got to sort through all the photos! Have a fabulous Monday and I shall be back soon to tease your tastebuds!

  1. The lemon ice cream sounds lovely, and the tart your dad made looks amazing too! I spent a lot of time at the allotment in the sunshine although it was a bit too hot really!

  3. Oooh I've been wanting to try that elderflower pimms for a while but didn't want to buy a big expensive bottle (yes, I'm cheap) so I'm going to be looking out for those cans! Is it as good as it sounds? Also, can't wait for your Dad's recipe - it looks so amazing...
