Indigo Herbs Smoothie Love

Hello and welcome to a non Workout Wednesday post! Ha yep there is no workout today unless you count eating a workout which to be fare sometimes it feels that way! Due to going away tomorrow to spend a few days running about the fields of Glastonbury festival I have one more review post to share with you so todays post is all about the love of smoothies and sone wonderful products from Indigo Herbs, who funnily enough are from Glastonbury, that take your smoothie from good to awesome! 


I was contacted a little while ago and asked if I would like to try out some products from Indigo Herbs as I am a smoothie lover and like to jazz them up, obviously I said yes! First of all I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to Indigo Herbs for the wonderful array of goodies they sent. I love the bag, smoothie cup, pen and fruit that got added in : )


The smoothie add ins included Beetroot Powder, which is a beautiful colour I would like to add, Organic Acai Powder and Cordyceps Powder. 


As well as Organic Raw Banana Powder, Organic Wheatgrass Powder, Organic Hemp Protein Powder and Organic Spirulina Powder. Lots to play with! I have been having a very tasty time trying out these fab ingredients, my smoothies have been tasting a lot better then usual thats for sure and the health boost from this lot can only be a good thing : )

I have gathered together some of the very tasty smoothies that have been passing my lips to share with you today and if you are like me a smoothie lover you need to try these.......

Beet, Acai and Cordyceps Smoothie


1/2 cup almond milk
1 small banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1tsp cordyceps powder
1Tbsp Beetroot Powder
1/2Tbsp Acai Powder
1 pack stevia

Blend and add water to thin out smoothie.

Banana, and Hemp Protein Smoothie


1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 avocado
1Tbsp Banana Powder
1Tbsp Hemp Protein Powder
1 cup water

Blend, add water to thin out smoothie.

Mango and Banana Smoothie


1 small mango, flesh cut off and frozen/or use frozen
1 frozen banana
1/2 avocado
1Tbsp banana powder
1Tbsp cashew butter
1/2Tbsp maca powder
1 cup water

Blend, add water to thin out smoothie.

Beet, Wheatgrass and Hemp Protein Smoothie


1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1Tbsp Hemp Protein
1/2Tbsp Wheatgrass
1/tbsp Beetroot Powder
1Tbsp Tahini
1 cup water

Blend, add water to thin out smoothie.

Banana, Spirulina and Hemp Protein Smoothie


1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup almond milk
1Tbsp Hemp Protein
1Tbsp cashew butter
1/2Tbsp Wheatgrass Powder
1/2tsp Spirulina Powder
1tsp maca powder

Blend, add water to thin smoothie.

Last but not least my favourite of the lot....

Coffee, Banana and Hemp Protein Frappe


2 small frozen bananas
1 cup almond milk
1Tbsp Hemp Protein
1Tbsp Banana Powder
1Tbsp cashew butter
1tsp instant coffee granules
1tsp coconut sugar

Blend, add water to thin smoothie.

As you can see I have been loving my smoothies and these Indigo Herbs products, I particularly like the banana powder it adds amazing sweetness to the smoothies and the beet is fabulous for colour I actually can't wait to add this to other recipes to make them beautiful and pink! 

The Indigo Herbs products are very good quality and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them in the future especially as they are a small family run business providing great products I can get from one place, I would much prefer to give my money to companies like this one!

    I could use definitely use some of the beetroot powder right now, pre-workout. Looks amazing!

  3. They all look lovely! I have some acai powder which I add to smoothies in the summer, but I have not heard of this brand before.
