Gluten Free Recipes and Inspiration

Follow Tamzin Pettitt's board Gluten Free Loveliness on Pinterest.

Hello, I'm back today for my second post all about living a gluten free lifestyle. You can check out yesterdays here. Today is all about some of my favourite recipes and where I keep all my inspiration for trying out new ideas.

I don't think many of you will be surprised that I use Pinterest to keep all my inspiration in one place so I can easily find recipes to try out when the need grabs me. I have a board dedicated to gluten free which is featured above, but all of my food boards are filled gluten free recipe ideas, you can fin hundreds on there so go check out my boards! But if your short of time I have put together a few of my own recipes that I love, all gluten free, delicious and easy to make (apart from my dads tart!). Enjoy!

Gluten Free Scotch Eggs

Gotta say I am quite partial to a scotch egg but obviously if you can't eat gluten your not going to be buying one to snack on whilst filling up at a petrol station! Thats why I decided to make my own check them out here

Paleo Breaded Chicken

I have actually never been into fried chicken from well known fast food chains but I used to love chicken nuggets as a child which is where I got the inspiration for this recipe and the fact that my boyfriend would happily eat a bucket of fried chicken....not happening! Ha so I thought it only right to make a healthy version which worked really well!

Chickpea and Sweet Potato Curry

I have been loving making curries over the past few months, they are so easy to make, super healthy and really filling. I pretty much just go with the flow these days when it comes to spices for my curries but you can check out this post to get a great curry recipe!

Pear and Raspberry Crumble

Another childhood favourite of mine was fruit crumble but I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say the crumble was my favourite part. A traditional crumble is a gluten nightmare so I had to try out making my own and this was a hit all round! If you love a fruit crumble check out my recipe here

Ginger and Chia Banana Bread

Banana Bread has become one of those loafs that everybody makes (if you like bananas that is!) so its only right to include a delicious Gluten Free Banana Bread here. Enjoy this is really good!

My Dad's Insanely Delicious Lemon Tart

I couldn't do this post without including one of my dads recipes, he has Coeliacs and is a master at cooking gluten free especially when it comes to pastry and cakes. This recipe for his gluten and dairy free Lemon Tart is a must try by anyone that loves a good desert it really is wonderful!

I hope you have enjoyed looking through todays post I will be back tomorrow with some new products to share with you so not my usual Workout Wednesday but it will be back next week for sure and if you can't wait I am sure there is a workout for you on my page to keep you going!

Question:

What is your favourite gluten free meal?

Even if you can eat gluten there must be a gluten free alternative of recipe you like, I would love you to share so I can get some more pins for my boards!

  1. Those scotch eggs have just reminded me that I have never made them and I really need to. They remind me of going on picnics as a kid. Great selection of recipes :)

  4. Your gluten free recipes are awesome! I don't tend to eat a lot of gluten anyways, but I think the blueberry banana bread recipe I posted recently would be my current fave gluten free treat :-)
