Food!

Oops the days have seemed to past me by since Friday so I am here now to say Hello! I hope you had a great weekend, mine was good, very quiet but good. I worked Saturday at the shop then went home for a quiet evening at home, Dale was fishing again! Sunday my calves and shoulders were in agony after a couple of full on workouts so I decided to take a complete rest day and hang out on the sofa awaiting Dales return. We then watched some films and had some cuddles : )

Due to not posting I had lots of pictures on my phone I have not yet shared so here is some food porn for you all, my tastebuds have been happy!

Smoothies

This was a mixed berry green smoothie

A raspberry green smoothie

And this a blueberry green smoothie, none of these are very green but they all include spinach and avocado which makes them green in some way!

I have decided to join in with Laura's green smoothie challenge, I'm going for at least 10 over the 2 weeks. Its definitely that time of year when smoothies are coming back into my diet and what better way then to start of with a little challenge! Thanks Laura x

Savouries

I bought some gluten free pasta a little while ago so we broke it out and made a yummy dish of pasta veggies and feta cheese. This was so good, very filling and a hit with the boy!

I made this yummy garlic and herb socca the other day, filled it with tuna and had a side of veggies, perfect.

Today I woke up really hungry and fed my hunger with this plate of goodness, eggs and mushrooms topped with almond butter with a side of cucumber, yum!

Drinks

I was sent some green tea from Twinings (review coming soon) so I've been drinking more green tea then normal and its remind me of how much I love it!

COFFEE!! Oh yes there aren't many days that I go with out a coffee and this week its UK coffee week so I have been enjoying mine with some Original Coconom coconut sugar, delicious!

Ok thats me all caught up with the photos that were clogging up my phone as you can see I am enjoying some great foods at the moment : )

Question:

Do you like green smoothies, are you taking part in the green smoothie challenge?

P.S I have added a bloglovin button to my side bar if you wanna follow me : )

  3. Your food looks very tasty, as usual!
I'm actually not a huge fan of smoothies to be honest - I kind of prefer to just eat the ingredients :D

  4. I have tried homemade smoothies for the first time since deciding to follow Laura's challenge. My first few weren't very green in colour but I really threw in the spinach in yesterday's one to finish with a beautiful bright green mixture!

  5. I had my first green smoothie last week- spinach, mango, cucumber, coconut water and chia seeds. It was good! Not taking part in the challenge as I'm on holiday too much this month, but maybe in May when I should be getting a new blender!
