Glorious Sunday

OMG what a beautiful day we are having, its a wonderful feeling when even a cardigan feels too hot to wear due to the sun being so warm! My Sunday has been perfect so far.........

I slept till 8 then got up and pottered about the flat before getting ready to meet my sister and friend in Hastings Old Town for coffee. We went to a cute little cafe which was new to me, I enjoyed a black coffee straight up. After we walked around the old town shops window shopping until we popped into Butlers Emporium a beautiful shop filled with all sorts of treasures and also where my sister works 2 days a week.

I don't get to visit Butlers very often but whenever I do I never come home empty handed! I bought some lovely stuff today including a gorgeous summery scarf and a pretty purse/makeup bag. The little bottle is Orange Blossom oil perfume a gift from Rose (the owner) and the cute little girl is hiding a blood orange, a gift from my sister : )

We said our goodbyes then I left the girls and walked to my dads, a good 45 minutes in the sun, I was  insanely hot by the time I got there! A quick catch up with my dad then I walked back home.

I loved walking around today and now the weather looks to be warming up I am looking forward to more walks out and about. Plus its a lot kinder to my shins!

I shall be relaxing for the rest of the day at home before the working week is upon me, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend : )

Question:

  4. The first day of Spring! It was amazing being out without a coat and not being cold at all... I hope it lasts :-) Also, I love that colourful selection of goodies or "treasure" you've got there. Looks like my kind of shop!

    1. Wasn't it! Thanks the shop I bought them from is wonderful but I think my purse cries every time I go in there, it knows it's gonna come out a lot lighter!

  5. Loved the weather this weekend! It feels like spring finally :) You're so lucky to be somewhere so cosmopolitan and interesting as Brighton. I have a few country parks near my house but no real coffee shops or actual shops. I'd have to drive somewhere :(

  7. Sounds like you had a lush Sunday, I wish it had been so hot up here! I am totally off coffee at the moment which is so odd! Although I think the craving might kick in for iced ones in the summer :-)

  9. Have to confess I can't stand the smell (or taste) of coffee. Mine's usually a herbal tea (nettle, rooibos or fennel for preference), or failing that a green tea or Lady Grey :)
