All The Good Eats

Happy Saturday lovely readers!!!
I hope the sun is shining as brightly for you as it is for me, it really feels like spring is on the way, yay!!! It can't come soon enough if you ask me and I am loving the lighter mornings, so much easier on my 5.30am wake up call : )

I was looking through my camera pics and realised its been a while since I overloaded you with food photos and other bits so here are some of the meals I have been loving and some other stuff for good measure..........

I have been loving greek style yogurt lately its so creamy and the perfect topping for fruit. Above was  some chopped apple, yogurt, cinnamon and coconut.

And this bowl of goodness was what I ate for breakfast this morning, more chopped apple and yogurt topped with cinnamon and bees pollen hmmmmmmmm

Lunches have been protein packed! I took this yummy chicken salad to work with me in the shop last week. Leftover lemon, ginger and thyme chicken with a simple salad of spinach, fresh coriander and mushrooms drizzled with a little oil.

I had a delicious egg and veggies scramble yesterday mixed with zest pesto, my favourite!

I also had eggs on night last week with some roasted veggies, another simple but very tasty dish.

Snacks have been rather scrummy too, yogurt with a chopped up ginger nakd bar was perfect fuel before a late afternoon workout

I met a friend yesterday for a catch up and had a soy hot chocolate, this is not my usual thing but I have to say it was delicious!

Its not all been about food, I have done some fab workouts this week out and in of the house. I have to admit I am feeling them now too its kind of hard to sit down on the toilet today! ha

And then we get to today, and what a lovely day it is. I had that delicious bowl of fruit, yogurt and bees pollen above then walked into town along the seafront which was glorious!

I popped in to the health food store before work and couldn't resist this gluten free almond and chocolate cake. AMAZING! It melts in the mouth and is worth every calorie!

I have a quite weekend planned, Dale is away fishing with his dad and I plan on going home tonight and doing nothing! Tomorrow I will hopefully be meeting some girlfriends for brunch and gossiping my kind of Sunday : )

Question:

Do you have any fun plans this weekend?

  1. Your weekend sounds perfect! I have just got back from a very sweaty run in what I think is my fastest time yet, so feeling pretty happy :) I must say, that picture of the seafront is just beautiful - if I were eating that heavenly looking chocolate cake with that view I would be VERY content! Enjoy your weekend x
