Hello September And Coconom Plus A Giant Life Catch Up

OMG its September!!!!!

Finally I have time to sit and really talk about what has been going on this side of the screen, my last goals post was back in April but so much has changed since then! This isn't really a goals post to be honest this is a "where I'm at now" and whats been going on post just to get you up to speed and really explain why I have been so busy this past few months.

If you read my blog you will know that I lost my part time job back in April and it was a scary time to be honest but in some ways it was just what I needed. I obviously had to find another way to bump my income up and came up with a Personal Training deal to good to be missed well I thought so and it just so happened that quite a few others thought so too. I went from training about 5 clients to 15 in a month and I have had them ever since! Its been an amazing few months and my business has really taken off, everyday I get up and look forward to seeing my clients of the day, see how they are changing in body and strength its a joy to be honest : )

As much as I love being a Personal Trainer for me it is always a second job and I would prefer to have another one that brings in a permanent bit of cash each month in case I lose a client or something happens to make me earn less. Being a trainer can be unreliable a lot of the time! This is why I have a couple of other things going on......this month I start to work Saturdays in the tattoo shop, I'm looking forward to my permanent Saturday role there, I am friends with all the tattooists there and its a nice to hang out and help the customers, its a fun day. The other work I have been doing is for a small very new company which gives me the perfect time to introduce my newest sponsor......

Coconom is a small company that produce organic coconut sugar in 3 flavours, yes flavours! They have Original, Ginger and Turmeric and Tamarind all of which are absolutely delicious. I am doing a little bit of work with the guys from coconom and its all very exciting, hopefully this will continue and you never know what the future holds. I feel quite blessed to have had the chance to do something like this and its all down to my little blog. Keep your eyes peeled over the next week as I will be going into more detail about this awesome sugar and there might be something in it for you! Take a look at their Facbook and Twitter pages to learn more about this fab product. You can also check out the website which is up and running but not quite finished yet : )

As you can see with loads more clients a part time job in the tattoo shop and now work with coconom I have been pushed for time around here. For now I will be posting as regular as possible but at least you now know why I sometimes just don't have time to pop in and say hi, there is a good reason!!

Career wise I am in a very exciting place and I can't wait to see what happens in the next year, watch this space!

Blog wise I am super happy with the way things are going. I may not be able to post as regularly as I would like but things are progressing well and there is a lot of interest which can only be a good thing! I would love my little blog to grow a lot more in the next few years, I am hoping to get some more recipes up and I think an exercise feature might be good but its having the time which is the issue at the mo.

Body wise I still find time to work out most days and I have decided I want to do the Hastings half marathon again next year so I am starting to throw some running into my weekly routine. Nothing crazy yet I just haven't run for ages so I figured getting out and doing a couple of runs a week up until Christmas will put me in good stead to start training properly in January (the marathon is in March). The past few months has seen me get a lot more defined which is nice, a work in progress though as always! Unfortunately my skin has taken a turn for the worse but I'm pretty sure thats down to eating too much sugar and the fact that August was the month of going out boozing! Other than that though I'm pretty settled : )

I think that explains everything so far, I am looking forward to next few months they are set to be real busy but I am excited about that and I look forward to the next update I give you. September is going to start off with a bang, we are off to Ireland on the 10th to go and see my little sister get married!! Can't believe she is getting married its so exciting and I can't wait to see her in the most beautiful dress walking down the isle : )

I plan for the wedding to be my only party night though and concentrate on other things a little more quieter this month, thats the plan anyway!

I hope you haven't fallen a sleep and this post didn't bore you too much, it was well over due!
Have a fabulous September 1st and I shall see ya next week x x

What would like to see more of round here, recipes, fitness tell me!?

  1. Hi Tam
well that was a lovely positive read, and I am so very very pleased for you the way things are working out, sometimes no, nearly all the time, I feel its better being happy and working in jobs that you like, rather than having to work just for the money and not really being happy, so pleased xx
    Hugs Lynn x

    1. Thanks Lynn! I totally agree! I am so happy to be doing work that is enjoyable, I'd much rather that then get up every day not wanting to work just because the pay was good!

  2. Glad to hear that things are going so well for you! :-)

  3. Lots of good news for you :)

    1. It really is fingers crossed it lasts : )

  4. Looks like a great opportunity for you!
