My Super Food Summer Smoothie!

What a day its been, I have smiled so much my face hurts! 
I think starting the day with an awesome barbell workout as soon as I got up helped, I love getting a workout in first thing sets me up for the whole day : ) 

After my sweat fest was complete I took my pretty American friend for a date to the carwash followed by coffee! Ha yes I find the carwash quite fun and coffee was obviously good, it always is! 


 I didn't have breakfast before I went to town so I had a late mid day smoothie to tied me over till lunch. Which for me is one of my favourite summer foods/drinks. I know a smoothie is classed a drink but with everything I add to it I would call it a meal! 

I was asked by these guys to blog about my favourite summer meal/drink and to blog the recipe, well for me the summer months are all about smoothies and this beauty was a medley of super foods even better!


My Super Food Summer Smoothie!

To a blender add: 
1 cup almond milk
2 handfuls of fresh spinach
1/2 a banana
1 scoop of egg white protein
1 scoop of super eleven shake
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1Tbsp tahini
4 drops of stevia
2 handfuls of crushed ice

Whizz the whole lot up and enjoy!!!!!


This smoothie is so good and filled with so many amazing ingredients. I have a big review post coming which will go into some of the above ingredients in more detail but for now take my word for it this smoothie rocks! Plus its really filling and prefect for these sunny days we are having : )
