I'm Back!

Hello!!!!!!
Gosh it seems likes forever, I hope you are all ok and have been enjoying your first week of July?
I had a wonderful time at Glastonbury, the sun was shining and the atmosphere as always was awesome. I saw all the bands I really wanted too, ate chips and didn't get enough sleep, the perfect festival basically! I am already hoping to get tickets for next year, the only down side was not having Dale with me as he couldn't get a ticket but i partied enough for both of us!

So chips were my main food source during my Glastonbury stay basically because everything else included some kind of wheat/gluten product so chips was the safe option! I have to admit I couldn't wait to get back in the kitchen and making some yummy veggie based meals, here's what I have been eating......

Eggs and veggies! Simple but delicious : )

More eggs this time scrambled with veg and topped with hummus

Hummus and veggies to snack on has been going down well too

And of course my beloved chicken served here with salad, yum!

This morning I enjoyed my first bowl of cornflakes in over a year! We went shopping last night and I really fancied some, this bowl didn't disappoint. I topped my cornflakes with 1/2 a banana and desiccated coconut which was very tasty and super filling!

The other thing I have been loving is my workouts, I must have walked 40+ miles whilst at Glastonbury but man was I dying to do a proper workout with weights. After relaxing Monday and Tuesday I was back on the exercise wagon Wednesday, Thursday and today which my body definitely knows about! I am feeling the muscle ache but I love it : )

I have a date at my sisters now for a girlie evening so I must dash off, looking forward to catching up with all your blogs x x x

Question:

Did you go to Glastonbury, what was the best bit for you?

2 of my friends getting engaged and The Rolling Stones = AMAZING!

  1. Glad you had a lovely time :)
I used to love going to festivals when I was younger (I preferred Reading though) but now I know I would not be able to take the camping or the toilets for that long!
