Friday Favourites

Well here we are at the end of another week, its come round rather quickly due to the long weekend and there are no complaints here! My week has been pretty uneventful to be honest I did meet a new client which was great but this job hunting is really taking its toll I just wish something would come up like yesterday! But I wont give up and am trying my best to stay positive : )

A few things that have made me smile this week are some yummy foods and a fab new fitness gadget which I am going to share with you today in my Friday Favourites post........

This breakfast was a total winner. I chopped an apple and topped with toasted almonds, pumpkin seeds and coconut plus some almond milk it was delicious!

My new snack of raw mushrooms stuffed with vegan pesto are amazing and really hit the spot when I need a little something in between meals

They are also rather lovely served with salad and some tandoori chicken. We have been loving chicken at the moment at home, Dales stepdad is a butcher so we get a great deal and the chicken is top notch!

Homemade soup is still a staple for us because the weather is still pretty cold! I have been eating mine with tuna and avocado mixes instead of the usual rice cakes. Much more filling and getting some extra protein in too.

And finally my new watch! I had a heart rate monitor before but it stopped working a while ago so I decided to invest in a new one. I love it! I love to see what calories I burn in a workout session, a little reward for my hard work! 

I have a busy Saturday tomorrow filled with clients then a Saturday evening with the boy. I will have a guest post for you tomorrow all about buffet eating so look out for that. Sunday me and Dale have a whole day together and I can't wait it's been ages so we plan on doing something depending on the weather!

    I know how you feel about job hunting. I've just finished a temp job this week and I'm tired of being unemployed already lol.

  2. I wish I could do raw mushrooms but they are probably the one food I can't stand! My Friday fave has to be the roast veggies and feta I've had for dinner :-)

    My Friday fave will be the waffle I just had with baked apples, yum.
