Happy 2013!!!!

Happy 2013!!!!!!
I can hardly believe how fast last year went but here we are on the 2nd of January. I hope you all had a fab New Years Eve with friends and family, mine was very quiet but I'll get to that in a bit. I have so much I want to share with you in the next few days/weeks so today I thought I'd share my New Years Eve and Day with you then come back tomorrow (when I have lots of time!) and share my goals for this new year ahead. I much prefer goals then resolutions and I plan a good few for this year! Ok lets talk December 31st............

My day started with a trip to the gym with Dale, we did a good hour of strength/cardio. All freshened up we went into town and met my sister and her hubby for coffee. I had an unpictured amaretto soy latte which was yummy, I always ask for a half shot of syrup as a full one is way to sweet and ruins my drink!

Lunch was soup with plain ryvita for dipping.

I went to see my dad in the afternoon after some crazy supermarket shopping. Not crazy because we bought loads just crazy because it was so busy with crazy shoppers!

Me and Dale actually decided to stay in out of the rain and away from the boozing : )
Plus we are saving money......more on this tomorrow......

We made a delicious dinner, rice noodles with courgette and vegan red pesto, steamed broccoli and prawns. So much better than a chinese msg nightmare!

The rest of the evening was spent watching Sons of Anarchy, drinking one small fruit cider and eating toblerone! Perfect New Years Eve!

Waking up the next day hangover free was so good, breakfast was pretty good too! Rice cakes topped with sliced boiled eggs and a coffee, there may have been some ketchup action too : )

The Sons of Anarchy marathon continued New Years Day and these popchips were perfect snackage!
I have a review of these coming soon.

There was actually lots of snacking during the day so by dinner time a bowl of soup and some veggie chips was all I needed. So good : )

Well there we have it a pretty low key couple of days, today has been much the same. Great gym session this morning, I picked up a couple of sale bargains (new pillows and a t shirt) then spent the rest of the day with Dale.

I am looking forward to coming by tomorrow and telling you all about my New Year goals/plans. See you all tomorrow x x x

Question:

What did you do for New Years Eve?

  1. Excited to hear all about your plans, that sounds like a very nice New Years Eve indeed. We went to the pub but came home early and welcomed the New Year in bed!

  2. Exciting news I hope :)

I spent New Year's Eve at home- we watched Catch me if you can, and then a bit of Damages, and the fireworks. I have one of those toblerones- have not opened it yet but it looks so yummy!

  3. Your NYE sounds pretty perfect- yummy food (the amaretto coffee sounds amazing) company and no hangover the next day! A bit similar to mine, except I accidentally dropped absinthe into my eye. Yup.
