Berlin Part One

Hiya! Finally I have some time to sit back and write a blog post to tell you about Berlin!!!!!
Well some of it, I will have another post to follow with more snaps from the holiday. But we will start from the beginning today : )

We had an early morning flight which meant having to get up and out by 3am! I actually really enjoyed having to get up its been years since I have had to that and it added to the excitement. The flight was pretty smooth and only 1hr 35mins which was great, I hate flying!

We stayed with my friend Jonathan which was just out of the city in a cute little flat. We spent the fist day wandering around getting a feel for the place. We had a chilled evening just at the flat chatting and catching up with Jonathan.

The second day we waited for Jonathan to finish work and enjoyed a yummy breakfast of chicken, avocado and cucumber. We also had a little walk round the neighborhood.

It very pretty with some beautiful buildings : )

When Jonathan got back we had a little power snack before heading out to do some site seeing

The sun came out too but it was freezing!

We went to the Brandonberg gate

Then onto the Holocaust Memorial in memory of thousands of murdered jews

The floor is all different levels so its like a maze

Coffee stop!
There was a lot of coffee/hot chocolate and chia lattes drunk over the holiday due to the cold weather!

We then made our way to the Berlin wall which was pretty amazing, so many pictures

By the time we walked the length of the wall our feet were screaming to stop and sit so..

We went for a beer!

This was the perfect ending to a fab day. I loved Berlin and have more to share with you but that is all for now.

I hope you have all been having a fab week, I have a lot of catching up to with all your fabulous blogs. Ooooooo one thing I didn't do while I was away was exercise! Well I did loads of walking but no proper sweaty workouts which by the time I got home was getting me down so as usual I will share my workouts this week once i had returned:

Wednesday: Gym - PHA training
Thursday: Seafront run + playground circuit
Friday: Home Vipr circuit
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Mini vipr circuit

As you can see I have managed a few workouts but I am looking forward to really working out hard this week to get rid of some unwanted holiday weight gain! Yes I relaxed my food a hell of a lot while away and it shows! I have something quite exciting to help me with that but you'll have to wait to see what it is : )

Right I have lots to do to get ready for my working week so I shall bid you farewell.
Have a great Monday readers x x x

Question:

What have you been up to this past week, any exciting news?!
