Busy Days and September Paleo Challenge

Well I've had a couple of super busy days, not getting home till after 9pm which is why I haven't been around. I hope everyone had a fab bank holiday, mine was spent at work but I didn't really mind double pay and all that!

Before leaving for work on Monday I had a sardine omelet and cucumber for breakfast which was really yummy and really filling.

Work was dead so when lunch time came round I was glad to go and sit with my food and a magazine! I had a bowl of chopped apple and blueberries topped with cottage cheese, cinnamon and seeds. (I also had this for breakfast Tuesday morning after a sweaty Bikram class)

After work I went to Bikram to sweat my boozy weekend out!

After class I had this beaut on the way home. Sweet pot and almond butter yum! I actually ha this last night for dinner too with some chopped carrots : )

This morning I had some amazing almond and quinoa pancakes topped with cinnamon apples and a little soy yogurt.

Recipe coming soon!

Today's lunch was steamed veg topped with tamari chickpeas and seeds with some sea vegetable rice crackers on the side. I have been using up bits in the cupboard because I am taking part in a September challenge............

September Paleo Challenge!!!!!

One of the girls I follow on Instagram has set a September Paleo challenge and I have signed up! It starts on the 1st till the 30th. I have been interested in this way of eating for a while and after a quite indulgent August I thought this would be a great way to get back on track before the dare I say it the Christmas months are upon us!!!! I can already imagine the comments I will be getting from one particular reader and to you I say STOP READING I am doing this for me so keep your words to yourself!

Ahhhhh sorry just had to say that! I will obviously keep you updated on how things are going. I am really excited and have already worked out my meal plan for the first week roll on Saturday!

Right I need to go wash my mop so till tomorrow guys x x x

Question:

Have you heard of the Paleo diet/tried this way of eating?

If you would like me to let you know more about the Paleo diet and the challenge rules I would be happy to share them with you, just leave a comment x x

  5. Very interested to see how you get on. I do find that style of eating quite interesting but with it being grain and dairy free I can imagine it being tough! Are you planning on giving up the dairy and stuff like rice dream milk as well? Good for you for challenging yourself and giving it a go, and don't let any commenters piss you off ;-)

  6. Hiya! I'm actually doing a self imposed Paleo challenge for the next five weeks too! I'm super behind on blog reading which is why I didn't realise you were doing it sooner, hopefully you can help keep me motivated. I only just started today, but so far, so good!
