Loving Chickpeas!

Good evening, I'm popping in pretty late so this is gonna be short!
I hope you have enjoyed a dry day like me with intermittent sunshine?

I got up super early to get my stuff together for my 7am Bikram class, I could have easily stayed in bed this morning but luckily Dale had to be up too so I hauled myself up and out of the house! I had a fab class though so it justified the earliness : )

Post Bikram refuel came in the form of rice cakes and PB + an apple before training my first client of the day.

When I got back to Hastings I trained another client before heading home for lunch

I made some tamari and coconut chickpeas, literally fried some chickpeas in a little coconut and oil and tamari and threw them on top of some veggies. Easy and very tasty!

Before going to my client at 5 I had a small pot of soy yogurt mixed with carob powder, 2 drops of vanilla stevia and topped with with toasted seeds

This was so yummy and kept me full right threw till my fitness class group at 7. I had a fab class, sweated buckets and the ladies really enjoyed it so a win win!

I as always have to get up early want to workout before driving to Brighton, I am back in the shop tomorrow!!!! I am looking forward to seeing my work colleagues and finding out the gossip!

Question:

Whats your favorite way to eat chickpeas?

I love some more ideas I am loving the very versatile chickpea at the mo!

  1. That sounds like such a great way to have them, I hardly ever cook them like that will have to give it a try!

  4. I've never fried my chickpeas before, usually I roast them in a marinade. Thanks for the idea!
