Weekend Off!

Yay the weekend is here!
Usually its all work and no play for me at the weekends but not this one. I do have one client to train tomorrow morning but other than that its going to be all play for me : )

So I started the week with plans to go raw but things didn't quite pan out that way, it seems I am way to in love with hot food to go completely raw. I have been eating some fabulous food though......

Yesterday morning I was up early to get to Brighton for my 7am Bikram class. Before leaving I had about 1/2 a cup of chia and coconut pudding. After class I had a client to train and while waiting for her to arrive I ate an apple and some almonds to refuel after a very hot and sweaty class.

I drove home and made a coconut and berry smoothie for lunch then just hung out catching up on emails and watching 24 : )

I really wanted something hot for dinner and as the only health food shop in town is directly opposite my new home I popped over to see what they had. I was very glad to see they had one of my fav nut roasts left! I paid and went home with a big smile on my face : )

I baked my gluten free cashew nut roast and served it with salad and of course some tomato sauce! Oh this was delicious and a joy to eat, I am going to try and make my own version for sure.

I actually had a lay in today, well till 8am which is a lay in to me!

After my hot water and lemon I enjoyed this yummy bowl of chocolate and frozen raspberry oats topped with soy yogurt and nuts/seeds. The oats are no added sugar and the raspberries I add to the pan right at the end so they stay slightly frozen, yum!

I spent most of the day at home. I have only been moved for 2 weeks but I really am so happy I moved. Living with a friend that is actually glad to see me and spend time with me means so much I feel really good about my decision : )

I did a home workout today.
I got my viprs out and did a very sweaty hour of exercise. I felt the burn and loved it!

I refueled with a hemp protein smoothie which was very tasty indeed!

I had to train my brother in law at 5 so off out I went to inflict some muscle soreness on him!

I came home and with 2 very small sweet pots needing to be used up I knew exactly what I wanted.....sweet pot fries! I teamed them with some olive tofu and lots of veg!

As I mentioned I have one client to train tomorrow in Brighton. I am leaving early to get to the 9am Bikram class first. Then once I have trained my client I will be heading home to get ready for a trip to the big smoke! I am off to London tomorrow to meet Wayne (my flatmate) for a night out. My sister is working up there at the moment in a pop up Sailor Jerry's bar and me and Wayne are going to see it tomorrow. We are staying up there for the night, I am so looking forward to this its been ages since I have been away for a fun night out!

Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?

  1. I have that box- I love paperchase things :)
I am planning a quiet weekend after so many busy ones- we went to London last night, and today I will have a run and go to the shops, and maybe to the cinema tonight, but pretty chilled out :) Have a lovely weekend x

  2. The chocolate & raspberry oats sound and look amazing!! The cashew nut roast looks really good too!
    Enjoy your weekend :)

  3. Raspberry chocolate oats sounds divine! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Your food always looks so delicious! The coconut and berry smoothie sounds amazing x

  5. Glad your feeling good about your move, it must be dangerous having a health food place right opposite, I'd be in there all the time! Hope you're enjoying your weekend :-)

  6. I love your eats!
Raw foods are great but I couldn't go 100% raw either. Cooked foods are just so comforting!

Hope you had a good weekend in London. Next time you're around we should go for a coffee and brunch in East London. Speaking of meeting.. I should come down to Brighton first! I'll email you re dates :) (Is the weather better down there? heheheheeee).
