Fabulous Chocolate Oats!

Hello!
4 days in a row this is going good! How are we today?
There was a little bit of sunshine so I am A OK. I was up early as always, today I had to be at a clients for 6am to inflict some muscle tearing : )

When I got home I had a coffee before making a delicious and new to me breakfast. I picked up these alara chocolate oats the other day so decided to crack them open! They are made with no added sugar, sweetened with dates.

I made my chocolate oats with 1/2 a cup almond milk and 1/2 of water in a pan. Once cooked I added some frozen strawberries and blueberries then topped with a large spoonful of soy yogurt

OMG!!!!!!
This was so good, every mouthful was a joy to eat. It was quite an indulgent breakfast but it definitely fueled me for my mid morning run! I went out around 11am to hit the pavement. I decided to have a run round a local park as it was such a lovely day. I did 3 miles and have knocked off 4 minutes from last week so I am more than happy with that! I'm still not running fast but pain free is what counts : )

When I got home I made a quick juice to get some MSM into my veins! I juiced 1 apple, cucumber, celery and a slice of lemon then whisked in a spoonful of msm.

I had a very random lunch, I needed to go shopping so just made do with what I had. I made a cinnamon and toasted almond/seed socca + a raspberry and carrot smoothie

Too be honest neither were fab I need to work on both recipes!

After lunch I had a wheel to get changed on my car, shopping to buy and my brother in law to train.

When I got in I made some steamed veggies with 2 boiled eggs. I mixed an olive and tomato pesto with the veg, it was scrummy!

Tomorrow I plan to get up and get to the gym before work at the shop then yoga after, I am dying to get in the heat! So a long day ahead of me which means I will not be here tomorrow to say hi. Have a fabulous Friday my lovelies x x x x

Question:

If you are a socca lover do you have any recipes you would like to share with me?

  2. I have had those oats before, and I am sure they do some kind of banana nut flavour too- yummy. I have never managed to make socca well, so no help there!

  3. I love the idea of the nuts in the socca. I used to put seeds in my egg white and spelt wraps but have never tried it with socca for some reason! I love a bowl of hot oats topped with cool yoghurt, so good!
