Another Easy Pudding

Oops here I am and its just gone 10pm, I gotta get this post in though as tomorrow I am pretty sure there will be no time to blog plus I couldn't come say hi yesterday. I hope you are all smiling because the weekend has arrived i know I am : )

Thursday

Before going to my 7am Bikram class I had a hot water and lemon followed by a banana and tahini, perfect yoga fuel for my early morning session

When I got home I made a giant smoothie then got ready to go to a clients in Brighton then Hastings. I was so pleased is was my Brighton clients weigh in and she has lost 1/2 a stone this month whoop whoop! So pleased for her!

First client in Hastings is owner to my favorite feline she is so pretty
(ok my nieces are favorite but this comes a close second!)

I took my lunch with me, went to my sisters to eat it, soup and rice cakes with peanut butter! Oh yes I got me a jar of the good stuff!

After finishing with my evening clients I went to Dales where a yummy dinner was waiting for me. Good boy, he made me sweet pot, tuna and salad. I enjoyed every bite : )

I also hung out with my favorite staff, awwwww he looks like a seal!

Friday

I drove home from Hastings early and when I got home I made breakfast, yep you guess it another smoothie, I don't think smoothies will ever bore me!

I took a lovely lunch with me to the shop. I had a delicious mix of quinoa, vegan pesto and mushrooms and some salad leaves.

I also had a tiny apple, nectarine, raisins and peanuts

I went to Bikram straight after work so guzzled this juice before hand.

When I got in I wanted something quick for dinner so threw a mish mash of things together. I steamed sprouts and fennel then mixed in a can of tuna and some sesame oil this actually tasted really good! I also had ryvita with tahini on the side : )

I always buy Healthy Magazine and last months had a coupon for a free sample of Provamel's new almond milk. I obviously had to try this but it has been sitting in my fridge for ages but tonight I had the perfect reason to crack it open..............

I wanted pudding so decided to make a mix up and create a healthy but yummy pud, this was the BEST and so easy to make:

Banana and Almond Soft Serve

You need:
1.5 frozen bananas
3/4 tablespoons of soy yogurt
almond milk (I used Provamel but you could use any)

Throw everything into the blender and blend till smooth then enjoy the taste sensation! I basically used the almond milk to thin it down so use as much or as little as you like. So simple, healthy and very VERY tasty!

I did try the milk straight up too and it is glorious I will definitely be buying some : )

Well that's me all caught up I am up early to train a client, go to Bikram then work at the shop so a busy day ahead then in the evening me and Dale are off out to eat so see ya Sunday have a fab Saturday!!!!!!

Question:

Have you tried almond milk, what did you think?

I really need to get organised and make my own I know!

  1. i love the new alpro almond milk. Have you tried the hazel nut? And yesterday i found tesco new range of free from chilled stuff. soya yoghurts & puddings (not for me though as i can't have soya) but almond milk & coconut milk!! plus there was a coconut and chocolate milk too!! And dairy free cheese but again that is soya so i won't be trying sadly.

I'd seen it on a healthy living blog or maybe on veggies.co.uk but i'm can't hold back & will be trying the coconut milk this morning.

  9. I've totally just discovered soft serve too -though I can't have it too much as banana makes my skin all inflamed :( Loving tahini at the moment too... very very tasty!

I love homemade almond milk - it's really easy and quite therapeutic to make. I'm also loving Good Hemp, which is a brand of hemp milk - so good!
