Challenge Smashed + The Best Lunch + Fabruary Goals + Full Fast Review

I completed my challenge!!!!!!!!
Woooohoooo, I finished my 30 Day Bikram challenge today and ended it with a double so actually did 31! I have to admit I am pretty proud of myself for this particular challenge, it actually went a lot quicker than I thought it would!

I had thought about doing this 30 day challenge for ages but kept putting it off through fear of committing to it but having done it it was actually not too bad. The worst thing really is the time, you need to free up at least 2/2.5hrs a day or 5 if your doing a double! I will definitely be keeping up my yoga workouts I still want to try to get there 5/6 times a week : )

Right lets get on with some food porn.............

After an early morning drive back from Hastings I had a big bowl of cornflakes topped with banana and coconut flour. I then went to train a client before my 30th Bikram session at 11.30am. I met my friend and once we had sweated for 90 minutes it was lunch time..........

We went to Aloka which is a raw vegan restaurant and cafe. I actually did a review on the restaurant which you can read here it was amazing then and just as good now!

They do a buffet style lunch of vegan and raw dishes, you help yourself then weigh your plate to find out how much your lunch will cost.

Jeez there was so much choice I pretty much had a little of everything, well all the veggies I didn't have any pots/rice/bread but the rest went on the plate! I can't remember all the different stuff but believe me it all tasted AMAZING!

Me and Tara couldn't leave without having a pud especially as its all raw and so pretty!

I tried a mini mint and chocolate raw cookie and a.........

Raw sour cherry and pistachio macaroon!

Wow lunch was insanely good, if your ever in Brighton you gotta look this place up it is food heaven for the taste buds : )

I popped to a couple of shops before heading home, then got some clean kit and went back to yoga! Ha ha yep I did the 4pm class to make it a double, I can't get there tomorrow and the weekend is a write off too so I'm doing as many as I can in the week : )

For dinner I kept it simple, steamed kale and red cabbage drizzled with udos oil and a little sprinkle of salt. I had 3 ryvita with tahini on the side.

I also made a fresh juice!

This contained:
1 beetroot, 1 carrot, 2 apples, 1/4 cucumber, slice of lemon and a piece of ginger.
So refreshing and so so good!

Right I am now going to do my January round up and also tell you my February goals but before that I want to share one last thing which actually comes into my January round up...........

Have you heard of Full fast?
Well in December last year I was asked to give Full fast a go, it is an all natural appetite suppressant to help feel fuller even when dieting. Now I don't usually go in for thing like this but as I had put on weight over Christmas I thought it was worth a go. I have to be honest, I have not used Full fast religiously through the month this is because I don't always remember to but when I have I must say that it has really helped with keeping me full and away from the snacks so if you are one to try this kind of thing then I highly recommend it! 1. 30 Day Yoga Challenge
Well as you guys know I smashed this bad boy goal!!!!!!
2. No coffee during January
Yay no coffee passed my lips throughout this month! I have also decided to start drinking decaff coffee from now on I know it contains a little caffeine but its far less then normal coffee. I will be trying to keep it to a minimum too.
3. Eat Clean, no processed foods
Hmmmm well this was going fabulously till the 28th when things went a little up in the air!
But having lasted 27 days I'm happy with that : )

After keeping to these goals I have lost my Christmas weight gain and also some extra pounds all in all I lost 7.5 pounds this month! This is great news and I am looking forward to loosing some more in the following months, watch this space! Right time for my...............

February Goals

1. Get Back In The Gym!
I haven't been to the gym since my crash in November! Well other than once with Dale partly because i had slight whiplash and also concentrating on my yoga but the time has come to get back in there. So I am challenging my self to at least 6/7 gym visits this month to include at least 1 class a week!
2. Juice Detox!
I will be doing a 3 day juice detox this weekend and then I plan to do 1 day a week of just juices! I have been interested in the juicing thang for ages so now I have a juicer there is no excuse! Me and my sister will be doing the detox together and i'll be sure to tell you how I get on : )
3. No Peanut Butter!

I am sticking with these 3 goals for the month. I will be going to yoga at least 5/6 times a week too and eating clean without to many goodies!
