Black Kale A New Favorite

Well its nearly the end of Sunday which means this hangover will soon be a distant memory too!
Oh yes I went out and got VERY drunk with my old housemate and had a fab night. I danced, I drank, I laughed and it was so much fun! I haven't taken many food picks today but I have yesterdays so its all good : )

Just before I get to the food, do you like my new flyer?!
Now I gotta get posting!

Ok onto the food!
Saturday morning I had a coffee date with my friend Tara before Bikram. I got up around 7 and had a bowl of fruit topped with coconut flour and seeds.

I met Tara at costa and drank a small soy latte while we gossiped!
Bikram was good and not too busy which was good. After class I popped to Sainsburys to grab some frozen fruit then walked home

When I got home I had the tastiest green monster!
This was a cherry and vanilla spinach beast!

I actually used a new to me protein powder for this smoothie, the taste was amazing! I will tell you all about this new protein soon, I got sent a few products and am saving them for a whole post to share with you : )

In the afternoon I had some rice cakes with tahini as well as a strawberry hemp protein shake which I made with a banana, twas lovely.

For dinner I had the best mix of foods. OMG the black kale I got in my veg box is insane! It tastes so so good I could eat it everyday and not get bored!

Dinner: quinoa, hazelnut tofu, black kale, carrots all mixed with a tomato and garlic sauce.
Every mouthful was a joy to eat!

Later on I got my glad rags on and met Hannah in town

Today I have been nursing a hangover : )
I was up and out to train a client late morning and this afternoon I had to go into job no.2 for a work meeting which was great considering how good the weather was!

I had fruit for breakfast, cornflakes and an apple for lunch not exactly healthy but its what my tum was calling for!

For dinner I had a mix of soy mince, carrots more black kale (SO GOOD!) and salad leaves. Again this was just so good, can't fault it in any way, nom nom nom : )

Lastly I enjoyed a 100% fruit lolly, pineapple frozen goodness!

I also wanted to share with you my feelings of the last week and how I've done on my vegan quest. I feel amazing, all the food I have eaten has been delicious and wholesome. If this carries on I am thinking the decision to go vegan is the right one for me. I have not had any tummy aches, bloating or feelings of being too full and uncomfortable. I'm really enjoying this way of eating : )

I plan a visit to the gym in the morning before a day of training clients in Hastings, hopefully I can get a quick post in.
