Granola Gobbler + Goal Check In

Hey I'm running late again! I went to some classes at the gym tonight with my friend Judith
and now its gone 10pm so I'm gonna try to get everything in but keep short and sweet kinda, you get what I mean........hello by the way!

I started my day with 40 minutes of yogalates followed by a tastalicious breakfast!
Quinoa, carob n water topped with soy yogurt almond butter and almonds thank you Karin!

I walked to work in the wind, its May come on sunshine!

Lunch started with raw veggies and a tiny scrapping of leftover hummus

the rest was in my wrap! Raw veggies, hummus and pesto wholemeal wrap = : )

I walked home after work, popped in to see a friend on the way

while my soup warmed and my broccoli steamed I ate a carrot, I was ravenous!

Look what was waiting for me when I got home! More goodies!

The kind people at Dorset Cereal sent me some granola samples! Chocolate granola samples!

They look delicious but the calorie stats do not look so good, I shall wait till Sunday (my free day!) to try these bad boys! By the way you can still vote for my blog there too!

Butternut Squash and Coriander soup

olive oil
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1/4 bag spinach
1/2 large butternut squash
large bunch coriander
salt and pepper

peanut butter n rice cakes

steamed broccoli

this gave me the fuel I needed for my evening classes

pilates followed by boxercise

When I got home I needed to feed! I had an apple cut up and mixed with bear granola and soy yogurt topped with grounded chia seeds

I may or may not have had a little more granola and yogurt..........

May Goal Check In

Food Goals:

1. No sugar other than fruit Monday to Saturday - Last week I stuck to this but this week I did eat a chocolate from my package from Karin so I'm quite pleased with that!
2. No more than one serving of nut butter a day - fail! I need to work on this!
3. Eat clean healthy non processed foods - I'm definitely winning on this one no processed foods for this lady!
4. Sunday free day - um this was definitely easy to keep to and boy was Sunday my day off!

Exercise Goals:

1. Try to do more than 4 different exercises a week - total win! I'm doing spinning, pump, yoga, boxercise, gym, running!
2. Start at least one new exercise - Win! I started pump, boxercise and also pilates tonight!
3. Have at least 5 exercise sessions - Win! I did 6 last week and I've already done 5 this week with more to come, go me!
4. Try to do yoga at least 4 times a week - Win for last week I've done one so far this week so as long as I do another 3 I'm winning!

All in all I'm pretty please with my goals so far, I defo need some work on the food goals but we're only a 3rd of the way into May so plenty of time right?!

Questions:

How are your goals going?

As you can see mine are ok!

Are you a granola lover?

I've only just got into granola but I have to say I'm hooked! Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.......

  1. Hey girl! Great job on meeting your goals- I think you're doing FANTASTIC. Glad you're loving all of the classes too. Pesto + hummus on a wrap? I bet that is awesome. Granola is great. I love making it at home. The new galaxy granola is wonderful too because they use fruit vs. lots of fat in it!
