I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody have you had a good day? I have had the best day EVER!
Yesterday I said I might have some good news for you well my dears I have,
I passed my driving test!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it I'm so happy!
I'll let you in on a little secret I had hypnosis a week ago and it truly helped me money
definitely well spent! Anyway lets get on with a little recap of some of yesterdays eats:

Lots of water was drunk........

I found hazelnuts make the perfect snack...........

My homemade bean salad I made for lunch was a real tasty tummy filler............

Quinoa, black eyed beans, soya beans, and celery. I cooked the quinoa in veg stock and it gave a lovely flavor........

Oat biscuits are best!...........

Onto today:

I woke up early and made some breakfast fuel to get me through my lesson and test!
I had chocolate raspberry oats with soya yogurt and tahini no pic sorry!

My test was at 9.07 and yes I passed with only 6 minors so not to shabby ay?!

When I got home I had to get my insurance sorted so I made a green monster to help me along.

1 small apple
2 big handfuls of spinach
1 c. LL lacto milk
thin slice of fresh ginger
3 tsp soya yogurt

I had a new lunch for me fajitas! I finally took the plunge and guess what no tummy ache!
Its defo yeast thats the problem and sugar : (

I filled my fajita with hummus, black eyed beans, pepper, tuna and spinach.
It was gooooooooood!

I got a good deal on my insurance and decided to get out and go for my first drive but I had to have some pud first........

2 oat biscuits topped with homemade roasted almond butter these hit the spot and got me ready to hit the road! I drove around town for a bit on my own then went and picked my friend Wayne up.

I drove us to a favorite cafe in Bexhill, you remember when I went there before and the cakes!

I had a celebratory pomegranate and elderflower sparking juice, it was delish!
After a little walk around I drove back to Hastings, dropped Wayne off then went to the gym.

30 minutes cross trainer - intervals
40 minutes of weights
plank + 30 sit ups

I got home and was ravenous!

I made chicken and veg in a puttanesca sauce on 1 slice of rye bread with a dollop of hummus on the side.

After dinner I dyed my hair the roots were coming through and being so fair they do not look good!

I had a healthy but indulging pud, carrot cake with soya yogurt, cinnamon and almond butter
man this was yummy

My homemade almond butter rules!

I have to say I'm pretty tired after today's events so I'm off to chillax before having to get up for my day of boredom at work! Night sweeties x x

If you drive did you pass first time?

I can't believe I passed first time! I'm filled with so much joy! I feel so free!

Do you have any weekend plans?

I'm off out on the town tomorrow with Wayne, then taking my sister for a drive Sunday evening.

  1. :) well done! Don't you just LOVE that feeling when you pass like that! Woohoo!
I almost failed my restricted driving test a few years ago. It was really memorable, I hit the curb twice, failed to actually hear the lady's instructions because of her soft voice, waited AGES on a busy road to do the U-turn and sped 20or so KMS over the speed limit on my way back!!! I don't know how I passed ay. haha, but I'll never forget that wonderful feeling!

  2. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the celebratory pomegranate and elderflower sparking juice looks amazing and love those PINK chairs!

passed my test the 1st time and within 4 mos had 4 speeding tickets and got a suspended lic. at the ripe old age of 16 yrs :) Had to do traffic school and promise to slow down!

thx for the compliments on my body yesterday...muah!

  3. Congrats on finishing the driving test- you're about to have a whole lot more fun!

  6. Congrats on passing your test!!! Now you never have to do it again :) (or, that's how it works in Canada). I failed my written test THREE times. I suck at multiple choice, but I passed the driving test the first time. Even in my 1993 Dodge Shadow which I don't think was even road legal :P

    Have a great weekend! xo

  7. ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Congrats!! You must be super excited! That is awesome. Celebrate it up all weekend. Lots of great eats- glad you fajita didn't bother your tummy (loving the mix). And I always want your oat cakes.

    1. Yes!
    2. Had a fancy dinner with Josh last night, taught yesterday and am teaching this morning, brunch tomorrow with the parents.

  8. I passed mine on the first try. I'm a terrible driver, so I'm not quite sure how that happened!

That Zest magazine looks interesting. We don't have that in the US.
