Free Friday : )

Hello sweet readers excited its the weekend?! I would love to say I am but a weekend of work
is holding me back! It seems a lot of you are in the same boat as me with family living in another country its hard sometimes but at least the holidays are good!

I woke up at 5.30am today and was just ready to do some yoga so I went with it. 45 minutes and I was feeling pretty good and ready for my day.........

I had a nearly empty tub of almond butter so I new what was on the menu! I also had this
sample pack of milled flaxseed, almond, brazil nut, walnut and Q10 to try

I made chocolate oats: 1/4 c. oats, 1/4 c. oat bran, water, LL milk, maca, tsp cocoa,
topped with soya yogurt and the milled nuts and seeds with an apple on the side

this was a glorious breakfast giving me driving power! Yes I had another lesson today

I took some hazelnuts in to snack on today

one of the phone reps came in bearing gifts well sweets! I was going to resist but when everyone dug in I felt a little left out so I had a couple and decided today is my free day of the week. Yep free Friday is working for me today plus I was getting hungry by 2pm with still no lunch!

3.40pm and I finally got lunch : ) I was starvalicious! and also in need of something healthy after snacking on a few sweets! salad, oat cakes with hummus and chicken twas lovely!

I also had an apple

After work I planned to get moving at the gum so some raw energy was calling my name!

This was much tastier than yesterday I obviously like the choco ones best!
This gave me just the right kick to get moving at the gym:

30 minutes cross trainer -
2 min L8 fast - 2 min L13 slow - for 10 minutes
3 min L8 fast - 3 min L13 slow - 12 minutes
4 min L8 fast - 4 min L13 slow - 8 minutes

20 minutes treadmill -
1 min 6mph - 1 min 6.5mph - 1 min 7mph x 3
1 min 6mph - 1 min 6.5mph - 2 min 7.5 mph x 2
3 min cool down
stretch

after the gym I walked home

Butternut squash and lentil curried soup with steamed veg, soya mince in red pesto sauce and a dollop of hummus! Is it ok to have hummus twice in one day?!

these were the perfect flavor combos

protein cake pud, this didn't turn out as good as the last one here I think i used to much apple sauce and I also used a whole egg

it wasn't bad but it wasn't perfect that's all I'm saying!

Guilt free chocolate?!

I was given this by the man that was running the plamil stall at the vitality show its their newest product. I love there dairy free sugar free chocolate it tastes fab and this didn't disappoint and as I'm having a free day I thought I may as well indulge!

Questions:

What foods do you find yourself eating more than once a day?

Mine seems to be hummus at the mo I just can't get enough!

What do you eat before a workout to give you energy?

I usually have an apple but since getting these raw discs and the vitality show I have
been trying them out and I'm liking the energy kick they give!

  2. Butternut squash and lentil curried soup with steamed veg=i dont normally care about savory food when there's a pile of candy! but that looks delish!

    more than once a day = coffee :)

  3. You and I both get to work this weekend. Hooray! (or not ;)). Well at least I've got tomorrow off so I guess I shouldn't complain.
    I think I could eat bananas several times a day without even noticing.
    Dates are the perfect pre-workout fuel for me! ;)
