Happy Valentines x x

Hey to all you lovely ladies, and guys but I'm kinda guessing I only really have lady followers!
I started my day with a big bowl of fruity quinoa porridge and a coffee in my heart mug, I had to really!

In the mix: 1/3 c quinoa, 1/2 c low lacto milk, 3/4 c water, 1 small banana, 3/4 small apple grated, 2 dates chopped, tsp maca + ground linseed's, cinnamon and topped with tahini, wow this was good!

I spent my morning reading blogs and chatting with Maggie.
While catching up with one of my favorite blogs I snacked on a homemade protein bar
I also made a big pot of veggie soup.......

I had my soup for lunch with rice cakes and nut butter on the side.
My soup is absolutely delish, kinda spicy yum yum yum

After lunch I went for a long walk which took me to the sea again.........

I love living near the ocean, it calms me listening to the sea......

I like this fish sign, kinda cool don't ya think!?

2m to town...........

I love all the fish bones!

My walk to town to took me to my sisters, I had to pick up her video club card. I'm having dinner at my friend Wayne's house tomorrow and we're gonna rent a movie. Was nice to see my sister too, she's been a busy bee lately as her flat is being photographed tomorrow for a fashion magazine!!!!!!!! I'm so utterly proud of her she's such an inspiration to me!

I had a good 2hr walk and was pretty hungry when I got home, I fed my hunger with a big bowl of veggies topped with 1/2 a salmon fillet left over from yesterday

I followed this with a yummy ground rice pudding with carob and raspberries, this was a great combo and am sure it will be eaten again : )

I have a big ol pile of letters that need to be filed so I bid you farewell x x

Question:

Do you have a valentine and did he make you smile on this love day?

I don't but I had a great day, Sunday off work can't be bad!

Do you have any exciting plans for the week ahead?

I'm super busy, dinner at Wayne's, osteopath, Chinese docs, cinema, theory test and lots more!
Few breath.........

  1. I've never tried quinoa as a breakfast food. It seems kind of strange to me, as I always associate it with dinner, but so many bloggers do it, it must be good!

  2. Wow Tam that pic of the sea is just beautiful! Hubs and i lived on the east coast of the US on the beach about 10 yrs ago and that so reminds me of that very special time in our lives. Happy new week, my friend :)
