Health is on the Horizon!

Hello, so its Monday again how's yours?
Mine has gone pretty well I must say. I started my day with a hot chocolate protein soup
made in the vita, oh the joy! This was a delicious start to my day and not a smidgen of sugar!
Which is part of the plan but more on that later. Look what I made!!!!!!!!

Yep your eyes are seeing my first jar of chocolate almond butter, no sugar! Just roasted almonds and cocoa. I spent the morning catching up on blogs sorting my own and making almond butter.

My back felt a lot better today so I treated myself to 30 minutes of target toning and 20 minutes of pilates. It was sooooooooo good to do one of my dvd's well 2! After my mini exercise routine I got ready for my walk to town and then to the Hospital. But first I needed to refuel........

Lunch was delish, I cooked some brown basmati rice, then heated up some pepper, soya beans,
carrots and 4 olives in 1/2 tsp of olive oil. I then added an egg and last the rice mixed up and gobbled.

I also had an apple topped with soya yogurt, cinnamon and chia seeds, perfect satisfying lunch.
Once my food had settled I got my bag sorted and walked to town, got some shopping then walked to the hospital. I covered quite a few miles that's for sure and by the time I got home I was ready for a cuppa and a small snack before having to dye my hair. I hate dying my hair but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, right?

I knew exactly what I needed for a snack my almond butter! Between rice cakes yum!
Hair dye time!

Look at this cool chart I got with my pedometer! I'm going to track my walking for the month, apparently you should aim for 7000 and aim for 10,000 steps a day so I thought I'd aim for the 7000 as it was my first day. I managed way more than that, all together I walked 12,691!!!!!!!
Pretty good don't ya think? So I shall aim for at least 10,000 a day and anymore is a bonus.

I can't enough of this at the mo, sliced ginger and hot water it tastes so good plus helps with my bad circulation.

Pudding was the same as last night soup with beets and rice cakes. and for pud.........

This was kinda weird a new experiment which needs some work but I think it will be great in the end! Carrot cake mouse! I didn't finish this all I was way to full for once!

Ok so I guess your all wondering what the plan is aren't ya!?

I'm going to be totally honest with you I have not stuck to my healthy regime at all, I mean I do eat healthy but I also eat way to many treats that don't get seen on here, all this extra snacking and not being able to exercise properly has lead to a 5 pound weight gain so not good! None of my clothes are fitting and I feel beastly so enough of the bad stuff lets get onto the plan I'm going to call it:

3 Months Thin

Why this I hear you wonder? Well I have a deadline in 3 months I shall be doing something I need to be in the best shape for, I can't say what yet as I'm not sure who reads this but I will inform you all once the time is right. So anyways I have 3 months to get back to my normal happy self. I am still having to take things slow with exercise because my back is still not fixed but I shall be getting some in there of course! I shall now tell you how my plan will go:

Healthy Diet Rules

1. NO sugar other than fruit for 1 month
2. NO processed foods
3. Try and eat 1 egg a day
5. I must eat at least 5 fruit or veg a day more if possible
6. Drink 2 litres of water a day
7. NO more coffee/tea for 1 month

Exercise Rules

1. Walk 10,000 steps a day
2. Do 3 weight/toning sessions a week
3. Gradually build up exercise as back improves!

So this is the start I shall keep you posted each day how well I'm doing of course, my first day has gone well and I feel great back is a little sore but that's becoming the norm!
So what do you think of my plan? I'm looking forward to this a lot especially now we have the vita mix, its so easy for a quick shake or soup, happy days!

Do you have a pedometer? and has it helped?

Night x x
