Another Thumbs Up

Hello peeps, how's ya Thursday?
Mine has been rather good, tasty food and exercise, happy days!

I enjoyed my pud so much last night I thought I'd create a similar breakfast, cause pudding
for breakfast is the way I like to roll! I had chocolate protein GF porridge topped with banana and yog this filled me up to the brim, and got me ready to face the day, and the walk to work!

I definitely didn't need anything til lunch time but by 1pm I was kinda peckish. I picked up my yogurt order on my lunch break (last one for a while!!!!!! yes I have been asked to lay off the yog for a while I'm not sure how I will survive but I'll give it a go!) then settled down with a good magazine and delish lunch. Today I made quinoa, red pepper and soya bean salad with a drizzle of sesame oil and topped with a boiled egg.

I wanted something sweet after so had 1/2 a 9bar,
I love these badboys! I saved the other half for after the gym.
I went to the gym straight from work and did a good workout, I'm still supposed to be taking it easy but I couldn't resist a little workout today, plus my back is feeling so much better!
So I did:

20mins on the treadmill up hill, speed - 6, hill 8
12mins bike level 6/7/8 speed 80
12mins cross trainer, level 7, set on random
12mins stepper, level 7, set on random

Pretty good going don't ya think?

I walked home from the gym and ate the other 1/2 of my 9bar, yum!

I was defo hungry by the time I got home and thought it was a bout time to add other food off the docs list. Yep it was time for some meat! Look away meat haters look away!

I made a kinda bolognaise and boy was it good! I cooked a palm full of beef mince in spray oil with a clove of crushed garlic and some herbs, once cooked through I added some steamed veggies and tomato passata. I had this tasty concoction with some brown basmati rice I cooked with some frozen spinach and also topped with some vegan cheese. Yeah beef and vegan cheese
weird but so right! My doc told me I was very low in iron and need to include some red meat at least once a week, I was not happy about this but I want my body to be strong so a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, right?

Ah pudding the best way to end the day I believe. I had a sliced apple and 4 lychees topped with yog, cinnamon and trail mix. The trail mix included cranberries, sultanas, almonds, pecans and cashews, lots of goodies indeed!

I have tomorrow off and can't wait, its gonna be a fun filled day. I have a driving lesson in the morning, at last they have been off because of my back and the snow. Then I am meeting my friend Wayne after in town for a cuppa I will then walk home to do some of my course. At 5.30 I'm going to meet my sister from work and we're having a girlie night with a dvd and good food, yay! Wow that was a mouthful!

Right I feel a handful of trail mix might pass my lips before bed..............


Whats your favorite thing to do at the gym?

I think mine has to be the stepper, sweat city, love it!
