Green is Good!

Ok the picture isn't great, I hate using a flash but the light was so poor I was forced! I had a
new style of my favorite GF porridge today inspired by a blog I follow.
Faith Food and Fitness is
written by a pretty girl with an inspirational story. One day while catching up on my blog reading
I saw one of her posts and thought I gotta give this a go swamp oats! Spinach in my porridge made me curious so today I tried it but changed it slightly so it was gluten free.

In the mix:

1/2 cup GF porridge
1/2 cup soya yogurt
1/2 cup water
2 tsp of carob powder
large handful of spinach
handful of raisins
topped with ground linseeds and homemade almond butter

I put the first 5 ingredients in a blender and whizzed it all up but it in a bowl and added the raisins, put on high for 3 mins. Once cooked I topped with the linseeds and almond butter.
Holy Moly this was good! Definitely one to work with too loved it!

Right I have lots to sort out plus a good exercise routine to do I see yoga and a walk/run in my future.......

  4. I love just love the name "swamp oats"... too cute! I love putting spinach in all sorts of things. You can never taste it ;)
