Daily Vits

I started the day with a very good workout. I woke early and got moving, especially
after my food frenzy yesterday! I started with a 36min Pilate's workout then did the cardio and strength training workouts from one of my Davina DVDs, both 30mins. So just over an 1 1/2 hours, pretty good if I do say so myself!

With my breakfast I always take a selection of vitamins, sometimes I think if shook me I'd rattle!

Vitamin menu:

Fish Oils the benefits:
Mental health boosters
Promotion of youthful and vibrant skin
Reduce the risk of breast cancer
Improve cholesterol level and prevent heart attack
Immune system boosters
Promote calmness and reduce stress reduce inflammatory pain

Vitamin C:
Boosts the immune system

Necessary for growth development

Multi Vitamin and Mineral:
The foods we eat are supposed to provide
with all the nutrients we need.

of time it is hard for
them to do this.
By taking a multi vitamin
and mineral
supplement it makes sure the
is provided with all the nutrients it needs.

Calcium, Vitamin D and Magnesium:
As I am dairy intolerant I don't always
enough calcium from my diet,
I also have
hormone problems and my
levels are very low. I do eat
fortified soya
milk and always eat the bones
from my tinned
sardines but as an extra precaution
and calcium
boost I take a supplement.

Last but not least

I take glucosamine for my joint health.
As a keen exerciser my joints can be stiff
and some times sore so I take this to ease any
pain and keep my joints fit and healthy!

Breakfast today was scrum scrum scrummy! Definitely what I needed after such an active
morning! In the mix:

40g GF porridge mix
tbsp cacao nibs + ground linseeds
soya milk + water
squeeze of algave + soya yogurt
topped with a few walnuts

This really did hit the spot I also had a freshly ground coffee. My friend is still here and I'm off for the next 2 days, Yay! I also have a bust couple of weeks ahead of me. Its my birthday soon
and I have lots of things planned all to be revealed.

Got to go make some Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato soup now, looking forward to that!


  1. Nice job on the workout :) Great variety. I only take a multi right now but I'm REALLY bad about taking it. I need to get on that. Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato soup sounds amazing- you best be posting the recipe ;) Almost your birthday??? How fun!
